Welcome to The UK Carbon Census. We’re a new company, created to count (and cut) the carbon footprint of every home in the UK that signs up for our service.
We’re not the government, but we have a good idea that can save you some money – and help you be a lot greener at the same time. We aim to save 1 million tonnes of CO2 emissions from UK housing in our first 5 years, and when we reach that target we’ll have cut your energy bills by £200 million, too.
So far the average house we’ve seen could cut its CO2 emissions by 43%, or 3.3 tonnes per property per year. Read on to find out how.
We’re working our way street-by-street across the country, and house-by-house along each street. In each house we visit, we look at boilers, lights, hot tanks, pipes, insulation, thermostats and so on. It’s not rocket science, but it works – many of you will save hundreds of pounds a year in this way.
And so you know you can trust us, we only use the RdSAP methodology – that’s the official methodology for domestic energy assessment approved and adopted by the UK government – and all our asessors are professionally qualified and their work is audited by an external certification body.
We’ll help you save energy, save money and do your bit for climate change – all with an official approach you know you can trust.
Invite us now and we’ll prepare an Energy Performance Certificate for your home. That’s a government approved document giving you the official energy saving recommendations for your property.
And lastly, our street by street model allows us to offer the lowest prices in the UK – we’re usually 50-75% cheaper than the government’s suggested price for an EPC, and sometimes even more.
There’ll never be an easier way to take care of your carbon footprint. So why not click on the blue button now, and invite us to your street?
